studying

I really don't like studying...

I really don't want to do any further studying after this degree (which I really hope to get through)...

I'd rather experience life...

I don't like reading textbooks, that tell you, this is that becasue of this and that, therefore you have this... I'd rather find that out for myself thank you very much...

I'd rather that my head didn't hurt when I get home from work and uni...

I'd rather be a happy chap always rather than be a sheltered busy-body that finds oh so much joy in eating oreos dipped in peanut butter in her bed watching T.V. for a good 30 minutes... It's pure bliss when that's your only relaxing time...

I want to skydive...

I want to run in the morning and then have a slow-paced breakfast, clean up a bit, do a bit of business work (you know to earn some cash) and then meet up with some friends for lunch at Bondi, go for a walk along the esplanade...

I want to meet my husband... SO uber-ly gay, but I want to meet him!!! hahaha

I want to scream...

I want to update my facebook, and upload albums upon albums of photos...

I want to put songs on my ipod...

I want to be able to say "yeah let's go hang out" without having to feel guilty because of the lack of study I've done or the lack of sleep my body is experiencing...

I want to, AND ONE DAY I WILL... That's what gets me through the days...

So... it's been a while!

I've been on holidays (off uni - still working f/t) and I guess, I had more important things to do and think about, but now that I'm back at uni - okay it's been about 6-7 weeks now, I guess i'm trying my absolute best to avoid the reality that exists - that "I should probably do my scheduled readings for this week and prepare for my exams"...

It is a complete nightmare trying to get back into the habit, because all I can think about is my exciting trip, my "semi-around-the-world-tour-physical-journey" or maybe just journey for short... I can not wait to go go go go go go and fly away!

Maybe I shall tell you how my travel plans are going, and exactly what's on the plate right now ...

OKAY HERE WE GO BABY!

November 23 - Sydney to Hong Kong via Melbourne on Cathay Pacific - arriving HK at 3:05pm
We check into a hotel (hotel name n/a) for the night, do some crazy afternoon/night shopping - you know maximise the only time we'll have there, because we'll be leaving to go Philippines the next morning!

November 24 - HK to Philippines - 2 weeks here in my birthplace, I cannot wait to just relax, eat, act rich and get uberly pampered. I've been investing in some real estate property, so i don't have to think about $$$ here! YEAH baby! cash money what!?

The Spa - Alabang

I really want to go white-water-rafting and so hopefully that works out!!!
I can't wait to get a pedicure, and my hair did, and my nails do, my back massaged and just everything that feels good under the sun, without hesitation and financial worry!

A week later, Joanna joins me in Philippines! WOOOOHOOOO! We're gonna eat so much our tummies start to get numb, it's what we do best, what can i say?

December 07 - Manila to London via HK - 11 hours

And then on the 8th my western europe tour begins :) First stop, Belgium, followed by Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, South of France and finally, PARIS, the <3 of France...

We then London it for 3 days before we head down to NEW YORK, do the whole christmas thing.

Okay i really can't be bothered at the moment! and i'm heading to Andora for some hot chocolate cos it's been too long. Silly people had to close my local starbucks at Martin place down!

It feels like there are fairy flies around

Make a wish when they land in your hand, and it will come true :)

I've had such a good day so far, I think it's partly because I ended the night off really well last night, hearing the empowering Joyce Meyer at Hillsong Conference 08 and that just started my morning...

This morning I looked my daggiest, I haven't put on my sneakers (or 'KICKS') to wear to work in like almost a year and TODAY i was wearing an over sized black coat, with my beautiful NB orange and purple sneakers and I bump into Geovani, one of my favourite guy friends from back in the days of high school. He was probably my hottest best guy friend back then, oh but how annoying he was!!! I always look daggy when I bump into him. Seriously... But irregardless, we're still pretty much the same, well obviously we've changed quite a lot, it has been about 4 years since he left high school and started with his plumbing stuff, but the way we approach each other is exactly like how it was in the good old days, teasingly, jokingly and honestly. I miss Geovani and his beautiful blue-eyed husky 'gow-cho' whom I fell in love with at the very first glimpse of him. Maybe I'll try and catch up with them both some time in this life...

That's all for now,

xoxo

like/love/dislike/hate

I like…
• The smell of rain
• Playing Cooking Mama 2
• Heavily snacking with my friend Joanne Mendoza and watching real good shows on my 42” plasma in my room
• That good music can really soothe you. Nice jazz and acoustic melodic for me…
• Coldplay
• Dancing and letting loose

I love…
• The idea that money can’t buy happiness
• Discovering interesting and unheard of things
• Travelling around the beautiful world
• That I’m curious and I ask very stupid and basic curious questions
• The fact that I’m more ‘ME’ than anyone else, I’m the best at being ME, and anyone who tried to come close, would only come second after me.
• Inspiration
• The word and movie serendipity, a fortunate accident… I wish all accidents turned out to be a fortunate one
• Learning about significant happenings in the world, especially before my time, biblical times, ancient times and modern times e.g. the daunting Holocaust and Martin Luther king days.
• My childhood, I had the best friends in the world; actually, I HAVE the best friends in the world.
• Craving for something to eat, and discovering exactly what it is I’m craving and then eating it.
• The main loves of my life with soooo much of me, my God, my family, my friends and my church.

I dislike…
• Imitators, instead of getting inspired, they’d rather imitate… it makes me grr and ask “what’s wrong with you?”
• The fact that I’m indecisive at times

I hate…
• Monotone things, e.g. extreme heat, extreme cold, I love the cold, but it’s got to be sunny, I love the heat, but there’s got to be a cool breeze to compliment it.
• Being bored, most of the time I’m not, I try my best to not let myself be bored because life is too short to set your status to ‘bored’

that's all for now, i'll probably, add/make changes to it though

Michael Buble' tells me he is my man

So here are the pics of the night we hit town, got weak in the knees and crazy in love with Michael Buble' and his supporting act, Natually7, which I must say, received a great, excited and fun crowd, I think it's partly because Australia is sooo not use to such different and unique talent. That's not to say that Australia is incompetent when it comes to producing such talent, America is just at a whole different level with ALL its goods and services, a level that is heavily enjoyed by the rest of the world, I'm sure... I'm not PRO-AMERICA or anything... It's just a fact. In saying that, I <3 Australia and that'll never change.
Michael Buble' is a delight to watch, insanely soothing to listen to and someone I'd probably hope to marry some time down the track! :)
He makes the fibres that promote me tingle...
We caught a train there and cabbed it home, I had to direct the beautiful indian man out of the city, this sparked up my city-driving-direction skills, after all, I was doing half of this man's job. He was such a nice man though, I got a bit annoyed at the start, because it was $16 by the time we exited Broadway (our trek started at Broadway by the way). He then told me that he did not have his ABN number yet, which prohibited us from using the cabcharge (the ticket was displaying $90 at this point) and I'm like dude, I'm not paying you. hahaha, nah I was just like, "look, I trust you, take this cabcharge with you, and when you do get your ABN, take $90, plus a $5 tip" ... And he calls me about 7 days later and tells me everything is fine and to call him on Saturdays/Sundays if we need him.
Anyways, the pictures:

Just because...

I'm due for an update, but this will be short.

Michael Buble' was fantastic, he told me he was my man, that I am everything and that I'm too far from where he is and he wants to come home to me. =D

Will post more when I get the pictures uploaded.

I didn't go for my green P's, and I'm not lying about it because I failed, but because I had to re-book it for tomorrow. My dad decided he wanted to work some over-time shift and so I had to drive my brother to his orthondist appointment 30 minutes away, which was scheduled at the same time as my P's...

I've been gym-ing it lately, since last post, Thursday last week. I've been Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! WHOA!!
Let's see if I can remember my gym routine for those days...
Friday:
25 minutes treadmill
30 minutes cross trainer
5 minutes rowing
5 minutes in the sauna

Saturday:
25 minutes treadmill
30 minutes cross trainer
5 minutes rowing
5 minutes in the sauna

Sunday:
30 minutes cross trainer

Tuesday:
"MEGA DANZ (60 mins): Previously known as RITMIX, this is a dance-based class. Mambo, spin and shimmy like a star! Suitable for all fitness levels and those with two left feet."
18 minutes treadmill
2 minutes of rowing

Wednesday:
"X55 (55 mins): This is an extreme energy and intense class which provides an ideal workout to burn fat and give maximum tone to all the muscles in the body."
This class almost made me cry!!!!!!!

Thursday:
"CARDIO BLAST (60 mins): A combination of boxing drills, resistance training and cardiovascular conditioning. Similar format to Boot Camp with pure adrenalin pumping action."
I didn't know we had to bring a partner for this class and neither did this other girl, so we partnered up. THEN! WAM BAM, after warm-up she's like "I'll be back in a minute" all smiles, and never came back. What a silly person, so I partnered up with a professional, she pushed me like anything...

I know, very pointless blog... I did it because I hadn't updated it in a week..

I'll promise you a more exciting one next week.

Here's a cool picture I made using http://www.polyvore.com/. I want these things, please buy them.

Check the site out, it can help you construct a more realistic & true to life wishlist. Which is a dream for everybody right?

Happy days!

Happy 22nd birthday Michelle Masigan :)

Good day to you and you and you and you!

I'd just like to dedicate a portion of this post to Shelly Bear, simply because she is an amazing friend and person (and because it's her birthday today). I've known you for 13 years and I will never ever get sick of you... PROMISE!

I'M COMING TO YOUR HOUSE AND I'M GONNA SURPRISE YOU! She soooo doesn't know this exists yet, so it's okay. I'm gonna wrap the Michael Buble' tickets and then put them in a big box and wrap that. I think she already knows what I got her, (because Marinelle, her sister is such a crap liar!) so I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to make Michelle think otherwise (for a good 5minutes at least).

WHAT else... I'm an official member of Mounties' gym, m1, only the coolest gym in the South-west. Last night, I hit up the treadmill for 25minutes, the cross trainer for 20minutes and rowed for 5minutes. I also had another pilates session today at lunch, so this exercise thing... I'm pretty obsessed with it, so bear with me as I tell you about all my amazing traning sessions! :P It cost me $330 for three months, and hopefully it's worth it. No turning back now or a good good-bye to $330...

I'm also very conscious about my weight, I don't really tell anyone... However, I made a pact with my friend, Jen, that I will tell her in 3 months, how much I weigh today, and how much I will weigh in three months. So that's another thing motivating me!!! Because I don't want to go telling her an ugly figure...

The NEW sexy blackberry bold has been doing some serious flirting. Check what the bold sent me!
I reckon, he tells all the girls this, sends them messages, telling them he loves her, just so that he can get a taste of everybody and be wanted by everybody!!! How rude! :P But anyways, on a more serious note, this has been voted as the sexiest gizmo to hit town and I'm thinking that's about right.
The uni nerds didn't get to watch sex and the city. BECAUSE I wandered around and down george street, aimlessly, waiting for an hour to pass instead of going to the cinemas and purchasing the tickets. I didn't know that almost two weeks after a movie's release date, the session I wanted in, would be full 10 minutes before it was set to start (golly gosh, even the session after was full!)...

TOMORROW = DAY OFF!! yeeehaaa... I plan to finally clean my room, change the sheets and all, go to the gym for at least an hour, watch some missed G.A. (Grey's Anatomy) eps and study for a little sharing at youth group tomorrow night!

Hopefully that goes accordingly,

til then,

au revoir..

xoxo

A new beginning (take 3)

Hey ya’ll

This is my third attempt at blogging, keeping it interesting and up to date. I am doing this because firstly, I’m extremely bored here at work and there is nothing for me to do, my head hurts from trying to think of something to search on the internet and secondly, I’m very forgetful and I’d like to remember my little thoughts, adventures and happenings, no matter how interesting or unexciting! So… bear with me. Please.

I’d also like to receive comments, to know that I’m not doing this for myself, but somehow benefiting the nations as I impart in them a wonderful thought or an extravagant idea. Haha just kidding, but seriously, post anything – ideas, crap, anything!

Come on now, how can you resist this school girl pose?

Haha I’m kidding, but seriously… not about the comment part though :P. I’m a level-headed individual, full of dreams that will eventually land me in a very happy place. That’s not to say I’m not happy right now, no no no, I love where I am, it’s just what drives me to strive for more.

It's almost lunch and I've got pilates on. I've missed about 3 weeks of it and I really don't want to go, but you know, if you're going to take a picture with monsieur de Eiffel tower later in the year, you've gotta look somewhat okay. That's my motto!!

Later tonight I'm watching Sex and the CITY with my uni nerds and to be honest, I'll be more interested in the city part... 'Why?' you may ask... because I HEART NY!!!

What else have I got lined up this week? One of my BFF's (lol ew!) MICHELLE MASIGAN's 22nd birthday where I will surprise her with 2xMichael Buble' tickets, and she will willingly, unforcedly (word? I don't think so) ask me to come because we crush MB like crazy!!!! THIS IS A SURPRISE, so don't tell her!!! But because she doesn't know this blog exists yet, I'm sure it's safe to post this...
How excited am I? superduperly!!!!

ALSO, I finally have my green P's test booked with Robin on Saturday, and I'm going to cry if he passes and I don't.
So please, include me in your prayers, and Robin too if you want :P

What else? I dunno, a bit of gym, working at work (or not). We'll see. Will let you know soon!

P.s. Hooray for semester breaks!

xoxo
